AFY’s “The Hobbit”

Over the weekends of October 4th-5th and October 10th-12th, Wilson’s youth theater group, ACT! For Youth, put on five performances of the stage adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic book “The Hobbit” at the Edna Boykin Cultural Center. Putting on a show of this epic scale is no small undertaking, but the youngsters involved with ACT! For Youth took on this project with vigor. It’s truly a lot of fun to see local kids playing well-loved characters like Bilbo, Gandalf, Gollum, and the dwarves. For more information about ACT!
