AFY’s “The Hobbit”
Wilson’s youth theater group, ACT! For Youth, put on five performances of the stage adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic book “The Hobbit.”
Feast of the East
The Feast of the East, an oyster roast fundraiser for the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park, was held in the park on Friday, October 10th.
Wilson Hispanic Heritage Fesitval
The 2025 Wilson Hispanic Heritage Festival was held at Toisnot Park on October 5th, 2025.
CVRA Boat Races
The Carolina Virginia Racing Association hosted their Wilson Shootout boat racing tournament on October 4th and 5th, 2025 at Wilson’s Buckhorn Reservoir.
Wilson County Fair
The Wilson County Fair was held from September 16th through the 21st and it was a huge success with over 20,000 people attending the fair this year.
