CLOSING EVENT FOR MAUREEN O’NEILL’S ART EXHIBIT AT THE EDGE!
After an amazing Opening Reception, we will be honoring the closing of Maureen T. O’Neill’s current art exhibit. She will be “in the house” to meet you and talk about her inspiration and process for this body of work. Maureen’s collection of pastel drawings Transition, Still and Silent’ – has been a sensation so far, and we’ve loved having it on the gallery walls! We invite you to come out on Friday evening, December 1, between 4 and 8pm, and see it before the show closes on Dec 2. We will be combining this closing event with our FIRST FRIDAY open house. Light refreshments will be served. The gallery is open to the public at no charge and we welcome you.
Maureen is the director of exhibitions and educational programming for the Barton College Art Galleries and Assistant Professor of Art in the Department of Art, Barton College. She is also an integral part of our Wilson artists community and many may know her from the Meditative Drawing classes she teaches at WilsonArts and The Edge, as well as from being past Barton students, and/or attending the Barton Galleries shows.
