Whirligig Festival

The North Carolina Whirligig Festival, held annually in Historic Downtown Wilson on the first full weekend of November, celebrates hometown artist Vollis Simpson and his iconic whirligigs. The festival features over 100 vendors, local artists, live music across four stages, interactive art displays, and family-friendly activities such as the Whirli-Kidz Zone and a 5k run.
