Farmer’s Market Opening

On Saturday, May 3rd, the Wilson Farmer’s and Artisan Market officially opened for the 2025 season. Dozens of booths filled with produce, plants, flowers, handcrafted items, unique pieces of art, and delicious things to eat lined the sheltered area of the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. Food trucks served breakfast and coffee to the hundreds of people who flocked to the market, and the Maggie Society was also out in the park with dozens of adorable puppies and adult dogs that were available for adoption. It was a great event, and we can’t wait for the next one! The Wilson Farmer’s and Artisan Market will be open at the Whirligig Park every Saturday from 8:00am to noon, Tuesdays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and will continue through August 23rd.
