Looking for a fun, affordable way to spend a summer evening with family and friends? The Warbirds Family Film Series at Wilson Ballpark is bringing some of your favorite movies to the big screen while showcasing the many organizations, attractions, and community partners that make Wilson such a special place to visit and call home.
Hosted by the Wilson Warbirds in partnership with Wilson County Tourism and a variety of downtown and community organizations, the series transforms Wilson Ballpark into an outdoor movie experience complete with concessions, family activities, and plenty of room to relax under the evening sky.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs and settle in on the field for a unique movie-watching experience. Gates open at 5:30 pm, giving attendees plenty of time to explore the ballpark, visit community partner tables, enjoy food and drinks from the concession stand, browse the team store, and let the kids enjoy the playground before the movie begins at 6:30 pm.
Throughout the series, attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about local organizations and attractions through special videos and displays highlighting the incredible people, businesses, and experiences that make Wilson such a vibrant destination.
Potential movie selections include family favorites such as The Wild Robot, The Parent Trap, The LEGO Movie, Field of Dreams, Hoppers, and even a special screening of Jurassic Park.
