Advent Concert Series
Now in its 16th year (yes, 16 years!), the Advent Concert Series offers intimate noonday concerts each Wednesday during Advent, featuring both sacred and secular Christmas music. Each concert is at NOON and will last approximately 50 minutes. Free and open to all, these performances provide a peaceful moment of reflection during the busy holiday season. Donations are welcome and 100% goes to support the artists and publicity.

Wednesday, December 3
Dr. Ginger Jones-Robinson, soprano, with Casey Childers, piano
Dr. Jones-Robinson is a North Carolina native and accomplished soprano whose performances include appearances with the Kronos Quartet, Brevard Philharmonic, and South Carolina Philharmonic. She serves as Director of Choral Activities at Northern High School in Durham.

Wednesday, December 10
Matthew Joyner, tenor, with Casey Childers, piano
Joyner is Director of Choirs at Ralph L. Fike High School and an active soloist in the region. A graduate of East Carolina University, he has performed with the ECU Chamber Singers, sung under renowned conductors, and is active in Wilson’s theatre and music communities.

Wednesday, December 17
Shelley Maddox, soprano, with Casey Childers, piano
Maddox holds advanced vocal performance degrees from East Carolina University and has spent two decades performing across the Southeast in opera, oratorio, and recital. A frequent soloist and avid choral singer, she returns to FCC Wilson to share Christmas favorites.
