Garret Hitmar and Root Down are a Raleigh-based collective of jazz musicians founded on fun and engaging music from every era of the jazz tradition. Led by saxophonist Garret Hitmar, Root Down are the hosts of Wilson Jazz Festival’s official Mardi Gras Jazz Jam and we are thrilled to welcome them back to the festival!
Casita Brewing Company has a wonderful vibe, some of the best beer in NC, and is steps away from our main stage at Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. This is going to be a great show that you don’t want to miss!
