Gig in the Park – The Phoebes Band

Wilson Downtown Development and the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park are your hosts for this FREE spring concert series. Concerts will be held 4/24, 5/8, 5/22, 6/5, and 6/19 from 6pm-9pm. We are happy to announce we will have ASL (American Sign Language) interpreters from Select Interpreting Services signing at every concert.

The FREE event, made possible by Presenting Sponsor, Wilson County Tourism Development Authority and additional Series Experience, Concert, Community, and Friend of Downtown sponsors, is a fundraiser for the two non-profits to support additional events and programming throughout the year.

 You’ll be rocking to various genres of music this season, including beach, soul, funk, pop, rock, and top 40 while chowing down from a wide selection of food trucks.

Ice cold beverages for the adults – served by our Parkside Pour Sponsors (The Hub of Wilson and Ruckus & Redemption) and fun activities for the kiddos – brought to you by the Imagination Station Science & History Museum!
