We are proud to host Daniel Lamm, an Exchange member, presenting his company, DAL International, which is currently growing Japanese matcha in Wilson, NC! Daniel will share how he is using our smart greenhouses to set a precedent for future farming success.
El Cafecito, a local coffee & tea cart, will be onsite to make fresh matcha lattes for our attendees.

Daniel’s Professional Bio:
Daniel Lamm is a native Wilsonian. He provides procurement and project management services through DAL International. Serving as a US Diplomat in Thailand, Daniel was the grant officer for The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, leading rule of law and criminal justice initiatives, throughout Southeast Asia.
Daniel is a veteran of the US Navy, and a graduate of North Carolina State University Agriculture Institute. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business and social science from University of Virgina, and master’s in public administration from Old Dominion University. His experience and education reflect an exciting, meaningful, and rewarding career that promoted democratic values throughout Asia. He led large cost savings programs as the purchasing manager at DC Water and enjoyed many years as a golf course superintendent in North Carolina.
In support from the US Japan Foundation, DAL International is partnered with Hamasa Tea Brokerage of Japan to explore agricultural and social-economic exchanges through Matcha cultivation and production.
Daniel resides in Wilson with his wife Cameron and two children, Culper and Whitley.
