Whirl4Kids 5K Run + Walk

Join us for a fun, family-friendly 5K in the heart of downtown Wilson!

The Whirl4Kids 5K is happening April 11, 2026, in downtown Wilson, NC! This family-friendly race benefits Mulligans Fore Kids, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to children who require medical care.

More than just a 5K, it’s a community celebration—with local business support, food trucks, and an energetic downtown atmosphere. Walk, jog, or run at your own pace; everyone is welcome!

The KPNP Whirl4Kids 5K was inspired by my sister, Kim Pittman, a Nurse Practitioner in Wilson whose love for kids and commitment to our community inspired every step of our race. Her passion for helping children led her to choose Mulligans Fore Kids as the beneficiary of this race.

This event is our way of celebrating her heart, her energy, and the impact she makes every day—bringing the community together to run, walk, and make a difference for local kids.
