Artisan Leaf

Artisan Leaf has reimagined tobacco as a decorative surface, taking this innately unique leaf and applying it to make one-of-a-kind tobacco leaf furniture, panels, architectural components, and decorative accessories. The tobacco leaves are encapsulated in 2-part epoxy resin to protect and showcase their unique beauty. Tobacco leaves change from year to year, from farm to farm, and due to so many other variables during the growing process. Each leaf has its own unique characteristics and no two leaves are alike. Paying homage to what was once known as “the Golden Leaf” and Wilson’s history as “the World’s Greatest Tobacco Market,” Artisan Leaf uses their unique art to add a certain flair to the local community.

Artisan Leaf’s store is open Saturday afternoons 1:00 to 5:00, and their workshop at 300B Barnes Street is open by appointment. Check them out on Instagram or on their website to see some examples of their innovative art pieces.
