Freeman Round House Museum

The Oliver Nestus Freeman Round House Museum celebrates African American history and culture. Located in a distinctive round house built in 1946 by local stonemason Oliver Nestus Freeman, the museum displays artifacts that highlight the significant contributions of African Americans to Wilson’s development. It also features an interactive video wall, art exhibits, and original tools used by Freeman. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
