Lake Wilson

Lake Wilson is a wonderful place for a long walk, biking, nature viewing, fishing, and boating. A two-mile trail wraps around the lake for walking, and there is a launch area for motor boats and an ADA accessible kayak launch. Lake Wilson is also a great place for fishing. You must have a NC Fishing License to fish and fishing from boats, docks, and the dam is allowed. Notable species found at Lake Wilson include bream, catfish, and bass. There is also an 18-hole disc golf course that is open to the public, covered picnic tables, and a playground for the little ones as well. Dog walking is allowed at the lake, and dogs must be leashed.
