Miracle Field

The Miracle Field at J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex is a specially designed baseball field that provides children with intellectual and physical disabilities the opportunity to enjoy America’s favorite pastime. Officially opened on September 28, 2023, the field was made possible through the generous support of the Wilson community, raising over $1 million for its constructions. 

Designed to be fully accessible, the Miracle Field features a cushioned, wheelchair-friendly surface, ensuring that all children, regardless of mobility, can participate in the joy of baseball. It stands adjacent to the All Children’s Playground and Splash Pad, creating an inclusive recreational environment for families.
