North Carolina Baseball Museum

The North Carolina Baseball Museum, situated within Historic Fleming Stadium, celebrates the state’s rich baseball heritage. Spanning over 3,300 square feet, the museum showcases memorabilia honoring more than 400 North Carolina natives who have played in Major League Baseball, including Hall of Fame inductees: Luke Appling, Rick Ferrell, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, Gaylord Perry, Buck Leonard, Enos Slaughter, and Hoyt Wilhelm.

Exhibits feature vintage baseball cards, signed memorabilia, and displays highlighting the state’s contributions to the sport, from the Negro Leagues to collegiate and minor league teams. The museum also honors players who competed at Fleming Stadium, such as Rod Carew, Richie Ashburn, and Robin Roberts.

Open year-round, the museum operates Thursday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm and Sunday from 1pm to 5pm.
