Southern National Motorsports Park
Southern National Motorsports Park, one of the region’s most historic tracks, is a premier 4/10-mile asphalt oval known for its thrilling racing events. Opened in 1993, it saw Scott Riggs win the first two Late Model Stock Car championships. In 1998, the track joined the NASCAR family as part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
The track operated under the ASA banner in the mid-2000s before returning to NASCAR. After closing in 2008, it was revived in 2012 by new owners Michael Diaz and Jerry Brown. Over the years, Southern National has hosted major events, including the Pro All Stars Series (PASS), ASA, Hooters Pro Cup Series, and NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, as well as the inaugural CARS Tour race.
Races are typically held on Saturdays from March through November. For the latest schedule and ticket info, visit the official website.
